Medical Support Assistant Place of Performance: Bethesda, Maryland   General Description: Medical Support Assistant shall deliver administrative support to admissions, inpatient/outpatient care areas, and other patient support service areas within the Clinical Center.   Specific Tasks:
  • Customer Service: Position requires direct contact in-person and by phone with patients, physicians, nurses, and other staff and visitors.   • Statistics, Reporting and Other Administrative Activities: Log in consults using department identified tracking programs.   • Attend discussion of cases during Cardiac Board and biweekly Surgical Mortality and Morbidity (M&M) meetings as required for cardiothoracic cases.
  • Participation with Professional Practice Review of Providers System (PROPS) Program at VISN level and compliance with Mandatory trainings as required by the Facility.
  • Participate in continuous quality improvement activities and meetings with committee participation as required by the facility Chief of Service, Chief of Staff, or designee.
  • Complete the appropriate QM/PI documentation pertaining to all procedures, complications, and outcome of examinations.
  • Follow all established patient safety and infection control standards of care.
  Qualifications:
  • Must have a minimum of four (4) years of continuous work experience within the last five (5) years.
  • Current license to practice medicine in any State, Territory, or Commonwealth of the United States or the District of Columbia.

Athletic Trainer Strength and Conditioning Specialist Massage Therapist Place of Performance: Montgomery, AL   General Description: Optimizing Human Weapon System Services is designed to meet the unique physical needs of the rated fighter aircrew. Conditioning is accomplished through a comprehensive, coordinated, multidisciplinary “pre-habilitative” physical training program with focused strength and conditioning, physical therapy, massage therapy, and athletic training. Work schedule and hours – Services shall be provided based on a 30 hours per week schedule. Operation hours Tuesday – Friday during the periods of 0800 – 1200 hrs and 1300 – 1630 hrs. During night-flying weeks, hours of operation shall be 1200 – 1600 hrs and 1700 – 2030 hrs. Flex hours may be requested up to one weekend per month during drill weekends. Weekend hours will be 0800 – 1200 hrs, or 1200 – 1600 hrs on Saturday and Sunday.   Specific Tasks:
  • Evaluate and provide services to all pilots who request the services each month.
  • Each patient shall receive an initial assessment within one week after services are requested.

Catholic Religious Education Coordinator Place of Performance: Patrick SFB, FL General Description: Provide services as resource person, advisor, for the PSFB Catholic community.   Specific Tasks:
  • Comply with all Chapel Air Force Instructions and Chapel Operating Instructions, specifically but not limited to facility usage, resource protection, fire protection, funds utilization, and safety.
  • Organize religious education monthly classes, and sacramental preparation classes, recruit and train sufficient volunteer teachers, substitutes, and other necessary staff. If unable to recruit volunteers, you will be responsible for conducting classes/lessons as required by the Catholic Church. Monitor catechists to ensure they register, complete the course, and become certified per AMS policies utilizing the AMS Catechist Manual as a reference guide. Provide orientation for new volunteer staff members in facilities, funding, religious education policies, and available resources.   • Schedule and organize the Catholic VBS in consultation with the Catholic Priest. Recruit volunteer teachers and staff and order the appropriate materials with CTOF when such a program is deemed necessary by the Catholic Chapel Community.
  • Visit each class. If CRE classes are done virtually because of chapel closure or to accommodate those who cannot attend in person, a weekly visit on a virtual CRE platform (Zoom, GoToMeeting, etc.) will still be required.
  • Maintain continuity and Community Group records. Desk, computers, and basic administrative supplies are provided by the chapel. Attend all regular meetings of the Catholic Pastoral Advisory Council and Catholic Pastoral Staff. Submit all pertinent data from special events/programs and submit to the faith group chaplain for after-action reports as required. To include a roster of volunteer Sunday school staff, monthly enrollment and attendance for all programs, and any additional information required by the Chapel Staff.
  • Maintain the Catholic RE office and storeroom in a clean, orderly, and safe manner. Using appropriate funding, maintain stock of expendable supplies and procure supplies as needed for the CRE program. Submit funds request as required for support of the CRE program to the Catholic Chaplain and monitor the handling of all funds received in the CRE program to ensure compliance with applicable directives.
  • Generate all publicity for the RE program: RE announcements, flyers, bulletin inserts, events guide, and calendar. Must obtain approval from the Delta Chaplain before distributing. Produce a quarterly CRE newsletter, bulletin, or other document (physically and electronically) detailing current curriculum offerings, learning objectives and upcoming events.
  • Plan, coordinate, and execute an annual event to honor and recognize the volunteer staff to include Catechetical Sunday, and or an end of the year event using Chapel Tithes and Offering Funds (CTOF).
  • In consultation with the Catholic Priest, develop and submit an annual calendar of events, an estimated appropriated funds (APF) budget, and an annual religious education curriculum timeline to the Delta Chaplain as determined by local instructions and procedures. Ensure that respective coordination occurs to include completing all appropriate facility and budget authorization forms prior to event or activity to prevent schedule conflicts. Any deliverables will be coordinated with the Chapel Staff overseeing the event or activity.
  Qualifications:
  • Shall be a practicing Roman Catholic and present a letter of good standing from their local Catholic Priest.
  • Shall have basic working skills with Computer programs: Microsoft Word, Excel, and Power Point.
  • Shall be able to speak English fluently.
  • Possess a bachelor’s degree in education or related field or equivalent experience. A bachelor’s degree in religious studies or theology is preferable.
  • Must be an approved Catechist with the Archdiocese for the Military Services (AMS).

Entourage is accepting resumes for this role: Certified Tumor Registrar Place of Performance: Japan   Specific Tasks:
  • Performs administrative procedures related to follow-up and tracking of active cases and new cases in the Automated Central Tumor Registry (ACTUR) database.
  • Maintains Follow up Rates 90% for all cases within the last 5 years and > 80% for all cases since reference date.
  • Prepares and mails patient correspondence, questionnaire IAW local policy and procedures with compliance with HIPAA and privacy act requirements.
  • Obtains pathology reports and cytology reports from civilian and military pathology services, reviews them to verify malignancy utilizing appropriate tumor registry standards and directives. Report to the Certified Tumor Registrar for appropriate processing.
  • Accessions patients into the registry (issues accession numbers and updates files.
  • Completes abstracts within 6 months of date of diagnosis.
  • Serves as recorder for the periodic Cancer Conference and quarterly Cancer Committee.
  Qualifications:
  • Education: As required to meet requirements for eligibility routes to be certified by the National Cancer Registrars’ Association.
